CEO - Founder
With over 25 years of experience in the OSP engineering field, Casey Fox brings a deep understanding of every aspect of the industry. His career has spanned roles including Drafter, Field Engineer, Project Engineer, OSP Planner, and OSP Engineering Manager. After decades of hands-on experience and leadership, Casey founded Fox Design Solutions (FDS) in response to the growing demand for reliable, high-quality FTTx designs. His passion for efficiency, accuracy, and client-focused solutions drives the company’s mission and sets the standard for excellence across every project.

Joseph Strider
COO
Joseph Strider is an experienced FTTH Engineering professional with a strong background in OSP design, permitting, and network planning. With over 20 years in the telecommunications industry, Joseph has led and contributed to numerous fiber deployment projects, ensuring efficient, scalable, and standards-compliant infrastructure.
His technical skills include expertise in AutoCAD, CADTel, and FTTH design platforms, along with a deep understanding of DOT and railroad permitting requirements. Known for his leadership in engineering teams and his problem-solving approach to complex design challenges, Joseph consistently delivers results that support high-speed internet accessibility and network resilience.
He holds a Degree from the School of Communication Arts in Raleigh, NC, and continues to stay updated with industry trends and evolving fiber technologies.
Laura Michael
Senior OSP Engineer
Laura Michael is a Senior Outside Plant (OSP) Engineer with a strong foundation in Computer Aided Drafting. She began her career as a CAD Technician and steadily advanced into engineering, driven by a passion for continuous learning. In addition to her engineering work, Laura shares her knowledge as a Drafting instructor at a local community college, where she mentors the next generation of technical professionals.
Outside of work, Laura is an avid equestrian who enjoys showing her horse and caring for a variety of animals.
Charles Young
OSP Engineer
Charles Young brings over 14 years of experience in the OSP engineering and telecommunications industry, with a proven track record across a wide range of roles and project types. His career has included positions such as OSP Designer, Permitting Specialist, GIS Permit and Scoping Coordinator, and Engineering Project Manager. Charles has successfully supported clients of all sizes—ranging from local providers to national carriers—delivering results on projects that vary in both scope and complexity. His well-rounded expertise, attention to detail, and collaborative approach make him a valuable asset to any engineering team.
